Message Hey everyone,
Well after everyone here was so helpful in advising me to walk away from the reconstructed TT I was looking at, I looked around my city and found an amazingly clean 1992 TT with only 113k kilometers (thats about 70k miles!).

The strange thing about this situation is how my parents have been acting. While they were OK about me buying the car from Florida as long as it checked out with an inspection, now that I found a car in Montreal they have gone crazy because of the price jump. Now I had warned them ahead of time that the market was different here because the supply and demand are quite different in Canada, but they always wanted me to find one here anyways.

Now that I found the most prestige 300zx I have ever seen with my own eyes, they are completely against me buying it. Their main concern is that it is very old and not worth the amount of money I am ready to spend on it. My mother has gone as for to call it a "Collecter's Item". She compares it to an old Camry she used to have wherre my parents were supposedly putting $1000 a week in repairs.

So anyways the main questions that I want to ask are these:
With the car having only 70k miles on it and being owned most of its life with an older gentlemen who took care of it like a baby, how reliable could it be considered? Approximately how much $$$ a year do TTZs with that much mileage need in maintenance? The car has only ever been driven in the summer and mostly only driven for the owner to get to work a few minutes away from home.

So anyways, any advice from you guys shall be helpful as always.

Thanks,
-Mitch
